Review : Rotten - Erin Lee

Rotten: Spoiled Plans Were Not An Option.

Review: Rotten - Erin Lee - December 2017
This was an interesting read, I was, to be honest, not sure what to expect. I bought it because it was an Erin Lee book and she is one of my automatic buy authors. All her books are amazing, and there is something different about each of them, that you find you can't put her books into a category as it's not just romance, it's not just a mystery, and it's not just a horror story. In Rotten, we meet a Bad Boss who is truly Rotten to the core. Her name is Emery Swinn though it should be Swine instead. She is a B-Boss, and if you aren't doing what she says, or she finds you a threat, then you better be careful as she will not only fire you but she might even try to kill you. This story is about three major characters - Emery, Jonah and Danielle and how you should never misjudge someone who you think as weak as they might be the one to come out on top. This is one book that you will have to read as I don't want to give away the spoilers , but one thing I will leave you with is that this book comes complete with a major twist that I have to admit I did not see coming and when It did I was like WTF is happening and AARGH talk about intensity for the reader.  This book also comes complete with a moral - Never underestimate someone as even the most unsuspecting person can surprise you and to borrow for one of Erin's other books - Karma is the B word.
