Self-spot for "Girl Talk"

  My book is called Girl Talk, and it's a F/F erotic romance of approximately 35,000 words. This was written from a "writing prompt," which consisted mostly of the "wrong number dial" dialogue in the teaser. My original intent was for this to be a much shorter (and much more explicit) story, for the purposes of having material to share with my growing reader base while I complete my March release, Team Mom. However, the two main characters--Autumn and her "wrong number dialer"--sprang to life as I continued writing them, and their tale simply could not be told in a 12,000 word short.

    I also wanted to clarify that although the story's early premise is of a wrong number dialer who continues to call the main character, while herself remaining somewhat anonymous, it's not a "creepy" or "stalker-ish" tale--although the writing prompt could certainly have gone that way. Readers should find this to be a light-hearted--and at times funny--romance between two young women.

Autumn is stuck in a rut. She's been on many first dates but is beginning to wonder if she'll ever experience happiness -- or a second date, for that matter.

When she gets a new phone, she receives a call from an "Unknown Number." The person's first words are, "So. You were going to tell me how wet you are." Autumn is stunned -- because the caller happens to be a woman.

Over the next few months, the mysterious calls continue, and the "girl talk" gets more and more personal.

Introducing Cassidy Storm

  I'm a longtime reader of romance, erotica, sci-fi and horror. I've aspired to become an author and have been working toward this for a few years. My first goal for 2018 was to actually make it happen, and with a few sixteen-hour days, my goal is within reach! My first release is slated for Valentines Day 2018 and my second one is anticipated to happen on MLB Opening Day (go Marlins!)

  Other than my sister, who is my best friend in the world, my family doesn't know I write--manuscripts of Girl Talk and especially, Team Mom would probably not be well-received at Easter Brunch. Same holds true with the "day-job" profession I'm in--so I keep those circles at arm's length when it comes to my writing.

  When I'm not writing, I enjoy playing board and card games--the real, physical ones. Although my sister Allison and I do play Words With Friends and I even let her win a few. I also like to cook, often prompted by seeing something delicious posted on social media. I'm deathly afraid of heights and won't go near the railing at the mall, but I've actually jumped out of an airplane. So go figure.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers.
