Review: Christmas Reflections - Joanne Jaytanie
For those who have grown in small towns or small communities,
you dream of escaping one day and moving to the big city and getting out of the
town as you don't want to be stuck in the same place forever, the thought of it
is daunting. For Juliet Swanson, she grew up in the small town and then went off to college and moved to the City where
she got a job working for a big firm. What Juliet then discovered was that she
wasn't keen on the bustle and hustle of the city and moved back home to
Glenville. In Glenville, there is the Christmas Tree Farm that has been opened
every year and fulfills everyone's Christmas tree desires. The farm is now up
for sale, and the township wants the farm to stay in the hands of someone
locally rather than sell to an outsider. Juliet can't afford the farm on her
own, but she has an idea for her and her two friends. If they pool their money
and resources together, they can purchase
the farm and with the buildings finally open their businesses. From
glass-making and artistry to baking to event planning, there is something for
everyone in Glenville. The whole town would like to see Juliet succeed
until Colton Weatherly arrives with a proposal as the firm he works for wants
to buy out the buildings of Glenville,
change the name and turn it into a tourist attraction. Can Juliet not
only save the town of Glenville from being bulldozed but what will happen when
she starts to develop romantic feelings towards the enemy?
Can Christmas be saved for Glenville or will this be the
last Christmas celebrating the Christmas Tree Farm in Christmas Reflections by
Joanne Jaytanie.
