Review: The Naked Eye - Iris and Roy Johansen

The Naked Eye (Kendra Michaels, #3)

Review: The Naked Eye - Book #3 Kendra Michaels Series - Iris and Roy Johansen - July 2015

One of my favourite series by Iris Johansen besides the Eve Duncan series is her Kendra Michaels as I haven't been able to get into the Catherine Ling series. Kendra Michaels was blind for the first 20+ years of her life until a new surgical procedure popped up and she was chosen to trial it and it worked, now her eyesight has been restored but after years of relying on her other senses to do the work she has become one of the world's best music therapist and she has other hidden talents that make her worthy to the FBI and other police agencies. In The Naked Eye, it seems that a serial killer Colby whom everyone except Kendra thought was dead, has risen from the grave and is still out there terrorising people as he managed to escape while supposedly being put to death. Now Colby wants to play a game of cat and mouse where Kendra is the mouse as he wants the one thing , no-one else can give him - he wants to kill Kendra Michaels once and for all as the last time it came to the death match, she managed to survive and he was sent to prison.
Also in The Naked Eye, we read a cross-over of characters as Eve Duncan's long-lost sister Beth features in The Naked Eye as Kendra is Beth's ICE contact and when things get hard for Kendra, Eve comes to help.
If you are enjoying the Kendra Michaels series or love Iris and Roy Johansen's books then Check out The Naked Eye today and for those who haven't read the previous books, it can be read as a stand-alone as the writer has provided enough information about the past for the readers to catch the gist of the story.
