VBT# See Through Me - Sera Bright

Review: See Through Me - Book #1 Lose my Senses Series - Sera Bright - May 2014

Just under a year ago , Katie left her hometown with the idea of never coming back and then heading off to college in Michigan the following year, that was until she recieved a strange phone call from her father saying that their house was in foreclosure. Returning home to help her Dad straighten things out and get back on top, she reluctantly arrives only to find her Dad not there. The one person she does run into that she was hoping she didn't is Ash Townsend, he was her best friend and neighbour growing up, the pair of them were inseparable but they both had their demons. Ash was the only one who could see right through Katie and he demands to know why she up and left that night , how can she tell him though the reason she left was to keep him safe and that she would die for him and loves him so much. In See Through Me, we also discover the truth behind Katie's mother and why Ash's family hated Katie's so much. See Through Me was a Gritty New Adult novel that did have a lot of to and fro'ing and I found some parts like her parents were skimmed over and though the book did finish on a good ending, I do wonder about Katie's father and why it was important for her to stay put till he got back as this part was never resolved in the book or really talked about.
