Review: Suddenly Royal - Nichole Chase

Review: Suddenly Royal - Book #1 Suddenly - Nichole Chase - April 2013

Are you a fan of Cinderella stories ? Love the series by Meg Cabot "The Princess Diaries" ? I am a big fan of this sort of story and the cover girl reminded me of Audrey Hepburn so when I saw this book - I knew I had to read it and fingers crossed, that I loved it and I did. Suddenly Royal starts with the arrival of a Duchess and the Prince to America and Sam's university. She just expects that they are donors and when they request a meeting with her - she is all prepared to plug the university's bird programme which she is heavily involved in. Turns out though that Sam is about to get the shock and surprise of her life as she discovers that on her mother's side she is in fact a Duchess and now being the last one in her family line - the queen of Lilaria is requesting that the original families return and the titles be re-instated. Sam definitely doesn't feel like a member of the royal family and is halfway through her Masters programme, not to mention her stepfather is currently recieving treatment for Cancer. Can Sam up and leave everything and show the world that this American young adult has what it takes to take a seat on the Queen's council as a Duchess and rule her own village as each royal member is in charge of a township ?
Suddenly Royal is a fun read and for those who as a teen devoured the Princess Diaries books will surely love Suddenly Royal- Book #1 by Nichole Chase.
