 Review: Yours to Keep - Book #3 Kowalski Family Series - Shannon Stacey - June 2011
Since I had been on a New Adult rush lately, I was on the search for similar books but were a bit more Romantic rather than New Adult as every now and again, I love the romance stories and at a second hand bookshop - I came across three of this author's novels in her Kowalski series. The other thing that made me smile about the series is that I have just finished watching the Season One of a crime show "Against the Wall" and the family were Kowalski's and similar to this book it was made up of mainly boys and only one girl. 
In Yours to Keep , we meet one of the Kowalski Brothers Sean who has just come out of the Army -though has he made the right decision to come home ? As he arrives he is bombarded with the information that he is Lisa Kowalski - Mike's wife best friend Emma's fake fiance. Now with Emma's gran coming to visit, she needs Sean to pretend for a month to be her fake fiance - can the pair pull it off ? What will happen though when the pretending starts to develop into "real" feelings ? Will the pair be able to see past the act and have their "actual" HEA or will they both be too caught up in the pretending to notice?
A fun romantic light-hearted read and a series that if you want something to relax too and perk you up a bit - this is a good series to get stuck into.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
