Review: The Last Victim - Book #1 Dr. Charlotte Stone Series - Karen Robards - August 2012
Fifteen years ago , Charlotte aka Charlie was at a friends house when someone broke in and killed her friends entire family. Somehow by a miracle Charlie escaped and now fifteen years later she is working for the Justice Department as a Psychologist. Whilst working at the hospital with a serial killer , he is stabbed and dies - normally once they die that is it but not for Charlie Stone as she has the ability to see ghosts and knows things that others can or never will know or understand. Now Charlie is being haunted by the ghost of Michael Garland - the serial killer on death row from the prison. Can she get him to cross over or has he attached himself to her ? If the whole ghost business wasn't enough for Charlie to handle, she has bigger problems as a new serial killer is on the loose and he is mimicking the same MO that the killer who struck her friends family is. Is it the same man or a copycat and if so is Charlie next on the Hit list ?  
A fun read and if you loved Darynda Jones's First Grave on the Right etc - The Charley Davidson series, you will seriously enjoy this.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
