Are you a fan of Mystery novels ?
Are you like me and devoured Harlan Coben's books every time one is released ?
Review: Six Years - Harlan Coben - March 2013
Wow , what can I say but first off let you know that this would have to be one of Harlan Coben's greatest books. It was so amazing and is one of the few novels and a mystery one at that , which has left me breathless and feeling exhilirated. The novel itself was so intense that the reader is left blown away and with millions of little thoughts running through their heads.
Six Years started off with the premise of a guy meets a girl , falls head over heels and then the girl breaks up with the guy and remarries somebody else and makes a promise to the guy she has broken up with for him to never make contact with her.
The guy is Jake Fisher and the girl is Natalie Avery , "Six Years" pass and Jake reads an obituary in the newspaper of the guy that Natalie married and travels down to his funeral only to discover that he has a whole different family and Natalie is nowhere to be seen.
This starts Jake on a journey to discover where Natalie is and what has happened to her as it seems that she fell off the grid "Six Years" ago.
Without giving too much away, hence why this has to be a short review as I could really go on and on all day about this book is that Six Years is (not that I'm trying to be cliched) a novel that is truly and utterly unputdownable. It is a novel that will take you on a journey of emotions and feelings , a journey where you are stuck between - Are you deluding yourself Jake or did it really happen ?
The best thing is that I have just discovered that Six Years is being made into a film starring the Hunky Aussie Actor Hugh Jackman.
