Review: Grave Consequences - Lisa T. Bergen

Looking for an historical romance ?
Prefer novels set in the 1920's era ?
Review: Grave Consequences -Book #2 Grand Tour Series - Lisa T. Bergen - March 2013
Have you ever picked up a book due to it's cover and thought hmm that this would be a good read and then as you crack it open , you start to realise that in fact the cover itself was misleading and that you have no idea what you have stumbled into ? For me that book was Grave Consequences by Lisa T. Bergen as looking at the cover and what I thought from a write-up on the book was that this book would feature ghosts from the past - here I am thinking that it would be more like Unbroken by Paula Morris and I get a novel like Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen. It seems that with the rage of The Great Gatsby film being released - that everything 1920's ish era is the in thing and Grave Consequences is no different as it takes us into the world of Cora Kensington and her newfound family as she dashes around the world with them from Austria all the way to France and Italy. From travel plans to romance to suspense and intrigue Grave Consequences has it all as we also watch Cora dash from country to country running from a male whom wants her as his wife and will stop at nothing to get his own way. Will he catch up with Cora and put her newfound friends and family in terrible danger or will Cora be quick on her toes and be able to stay one- two steps in front ?
Find out all this and more in Book #2 Grand Tour Series - Grave Consequences by Lisa T. Bergen and fans of Deanna Raybourn's Lady Julia Grey series will love the Grand Tour Series.

  1. This is a special series that is hard to put down. Love how Lisa has drawn us in so far. Now, if only October would arrive. :)
