Review: Unthinkable - Book #6 NightFall - Shirley Duke - August 2010

This book reminds me of all those supernatural stories where the main character ends up having psychic visions of events that are going to happen. In Unthinkable , we meet Omar Phillips, he suffers from awful visions and the only way to let them out is to write about , so of course using modern technology and social networking site Facebook. Omar begins to write his visions down as a collection of short stories. However, things are about to get a little creepy for Omar as his vision "Dead in Red" where a girl meets a guy from Facebook and eventually ends up killed and lying facedown dead. After posting it, the next day Natasha Monroe - an old friend of Omar's turns up dead and the crime scene and surroundings are eerily familiar to Onar's story. The second event that happens is when Omar gets a vision about Death on a Ferry , which later again rings true. It is not till his third vision, that he meets Sophie - a girl who has the same gift or curse -depending which way you look at it as Omar. When the next Vision turns out to be his friend being Killed , can Omar put his vision and observation skills to the test to save his friend Jon or will his friend be the next to die in the tale of the Unthinkable Visions?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
