For two people, life can be so different. Kate loves her dad and wants’ him back, Troy hates his dad and doesn’t want anything to do with him. When Kate’s dad goes missing after a day out with his friend, Kate’s life is chucked into chaos and she finds herself retreating back to the hut her father gave her for her 5th birthday. During an expedition with her sister Madeline, who is making The Stone Man – who according to legend helps with saving people who are lost? On their way to their hut, they met a guy called Troy who as we find out is part of the local Boot Camp down the road. As the story gets on, we see Troy and Kate slowly coming together but not in a lovey-dovey way but in a close friendship. When the truth about Troy is revealed and who his father is, Kate playing the heroine rushes to Troy’s side but in doing so has Kate put both of them in danger? Will Kate and Madeline ever get their dad back or is he lost forever and its bad news on the phone?
