The book of the month that we have all been waiting for -the release of Stephenie Meyer's new novella - "The Second Life of Bree Tanner" - it has been released just in time for the release of the movie Eclipse. After reading this book, if you are a Twilight fan like myself , I am going to have to re-read Eclipse and see if I can spot the infamous Bree Tanner and read about her from the Cullens and Volturi's views ,

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner - Stephenie Meyer -2010 - A Novella :

Who is Bree Tanner and why does she warrant a novella to herself ?. Reading the introduction it talked about the fight scene in Eclipse against Victoria's army and the Cullens/ Werewolves and the little one who surrended. The Short Second life of Bree Tanner focuses on a fifteen year old girl who has been turned by Victoria and living in a Vampire colony and details her adventures and her discoveries of what is true and what is a lie . When Bree meets Diego -a fellow vampire she is thrust into a world where she discovers all the vampire tales she has been brought up to believe are all a lie and that their only existence is to be pawns in Victoria's game. We read as Bree weaves in and out of the novel discovering that she doesn't burn but sparkle and the fact not all Vampires are evil especially the yellow-eyed ones. When the war between the Seattle Vampires and Cullens begin, Bree is forced to reconsider where her loyalties lie and choose whether to live a life of evil or turn to a life of control and goodness with the Cullens . Will Bree die like the rest of her clan or will the Cullens and Volturi take her under their wings ?. A book that all lovers of the Twilight Saga must read and will enjoy.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
